Anite MMAC3 is the fundamental component in the wireless measuring units of telenetworks. Six cellular phones can be connected to the device, which measure the strength of telenetwork signals as well as the voice quality. Cost Reduction was realized for the project by Velho. The project included a new design and the mechanical defects detected in previous production versions were repaired. Additionally, Velho implemented the manufacturer search for the device, and electronic and mechanical testings for CE and FCC approvals. MMAC3 is a device designed for vehicle use, therefore e.g. vibration resistance and wide temperature changes set strict limits and conditions for the design. The mechanics of the device consist of 11 sheet metal parts and it has some genial engineering solutions. The device participated in the 2008 Plootu Fennica sheet metal product competition. |
